How much feeder space?

I like your tractor. Very neatly done. I have been looking at doing a tractor so I can contain some Freedom Rangers. May I ask why you chose Crx's instead of Freedom RAngers? I'm really wanting to re-involve myself and family with the circle of life.

Hi, i am from WV and our weather is close to the same, and i am wondering if you started your crosses in the tractor, or moved them in after a while in a brooder? I am receiving 40 in Mid-March,and usually keep them in a building the entire 8wks- with a small run if they want to go outside ( which only a few of them ever do)
would like to make a tractor for them, but not sure about heat at this time of year. thanks in advance for your reply.

I tried that thinking the same things. Biggest problem for me was getting them unhung to fill them up.

Feeder plans - I don't have a plan for them. I just cut the top part of the pvc, then put a small piece of wood on the ends so they wouldn't roll over.
