This morning before she got off the roost? If it was before she got down to eat this morning than she likely has an impacted and or sour crop and needs treatment immediately.Alright, I looked at her and she looked like she had eaten a pound of food, her crop was enlarged a bit.
What do I do?This morning before she got off the roost? If it was before she got down to eat this morning than she likely has an impacted and or sour crop and needs treatment immediately.
First thing you need to do is separate her from the food immediately. Give her plenty of clean water but no food. I’m not really the person to ask beyond that. I know there is a few articles on here about it. I’ll find one of those and link it.What do I do?
I couldn’t find the article. I would make a new thread in the Emergancy, cures and diaseases section. Make sure you put sour/impacted crop in the title. I want to help but I’m just not experienced enough with this problem. I lost one bird to it this week and am in the process of treating another.
So would three eight pound feeders work better than one?For 27 birds, I would have more than one feeder.
