How much for that Polish rooster in the coop?

One of my chicks turns out is a dude. Going to my first chicken swap tomorrow and looking for advice.
How much is a 3 month old handsome Polish rooster worth?

That depends a lot on who shows up. If someone raises gold laced polish they might be interested. Otherwise someone may buy him for meat. I would ask someone to make an offer and then bargain with them.

I am hoping to trade him for a couple young laying heads.
Or sell him for enough to buy some young hens.
But have no idea on values?

You'll find out that unless someone is looking for a specific breed - no matter where you're selling- that roosters are a dime a dozen.
I've sold them for 20 and often much less.

i bought my polish hen for 15 bucks before she was laying from my friend so it depends

I was told at my local feed store yesterday that roosters generally get sold for $5 a piece, HOWEVER... they bought two polish buff laced off me for $15.00. So, I would say they are worth about $10 a piece.
