How much grit?

I know you need to throw grit out there for their craws how much? We threw some down when we got them on Saturday. Do they need more yet?

I would just keep a bowl of it available for them to use as needed. If they are free ranging in a large yard they may not need much but it never hurts to have it available. They will regulate what they need on their own as long as they have the option.
