How much height needed for mating?

I am getting a new breed of chickens and there is going to be a rooster with this flock. I am going to be building them their own coop this summer. My question is how tall does the run need to be for the rooster to be able to mate with the hens? Thanks for your help.

I'd say at least two feet. Three to be generous.
