How much land do you free range on?

I was wondering how much land everyone free ranges on? AND, do your chickens use all of it, or do they primary stay around a small area or around the coop?

About 7,000 sf in a suburban backyard. They use all of it.

15 acres, but the chickens stay on just a few acres. The turkeys tend to wander abit LOL

16 acres for 39 chickens.
They stay pretty close but if they have to poop, I swear they come over to the patio to poop.

We have 12,000 sf of backyard and 8 chickens, they use half of it during the hottest part of the day because they enjoy hanging out in the shade our two oak trees provide.

Towards dusk they will wander to the open area and do what chickens do until almost dark then they'll head back to their coop.

We have 4 acres of land. Our girls use 1/2-1 acre of our property. I let them out in the evening for 2-3 hours.

My 9 chickens have a little over half an acre, most of it heavily wooded with all the bugs, worms, slugs, spiders, grubs, long grass, shrubs, leaves and snakes they could possibly want... And they choose to hang out in my flower beds, driveway, and the area immediately outside of my kitchen window.
