How much lettuce can you give to geese?

I have access to a lot of lettuce. A few boxes a day. How much can I give my little geese? Can I let them have access all day to it? They go nuts for it and until I plant the "pasture" there isn't much grazing in my yard 'cept when I walk them to the park.

Also how about ducks? They love it too.

Romain and some other leafy variety.

I don't think I would give access to it all day, but a good bunch daily would be fine, how old are the geese and ducks? You don't want them to fill up on lettuce and not get the required nutrition from a good balanced poultry ration

they are still young, just finishing feathering in.

Green leafy veggies are excellent for them. Supplement the rations with a head or two chopped a day. If they aren't able to forage yet, make sure they have access to some grit.
