How much light shoud chickens get to lay eggs?

I have 8 bantams and I get one egg a day for a couple of weeks now. There not molting and we get plenty of sun in Reno, NV. They get atleast 12 hr with the light on in their coupe for 4 hrs in the evening.

I believe 14 hours is optimum, but egg production can also slow down as the weather becomes cooler. You might try leaving the light on a few more hours.
