How much longer will it be?

This morning my dh woke me up to tell me one of my chickens was singing the egg song!

So I peaked inside and of course they all heard me coming and the singing stopped. I opened the chicken door and they all came out like nothing was going on. My 5 hens are almost 17 weeks old. I noticed my Light Brahma looking redder lately and yesterday my rooster tried to mount her. But isn't this early for a LB? How much longer will it be till I get my first egg now?

Looking at the Breeds you have listed in your signature line, I would bet the RIR are due to lay at any time, possibly the EE also.

Mine sang a couple weeks before they started to lay, it seemed like forever! Their combs will get bigger and redder, they will squat, they will look over the nesting boxes and then when you have given up, you will get your eggs!
