How much money do you make and how do you sell your polutry to make "feed money" I need about $500 per month and think this can be done......

What ideas are there for selling chicks and chickens for $$$$ I want to get the flock down before winter.

I have heard craigs list, maybe newspaper, what else or suggestions and how much money do you make and how do you sell your poultry to make "feed money"

I reccomend buying chicks and selling them as started birds or pullets. I have a lot of customers that do that. You would have to sell alot of them to do $500 per month but it can be done.

I would say that if you are looking to do breeding it will be much more expensive than just buying the chicks.

I would definitely put an ad in the breeders directory of Back yard poultry magazine and the classifieds of Poultry Press for chicks or hatching eggs. Those pay for themselves easily.

Also local harvest is a great website to be listed on. Also check with your Local Extension agent.
