How much run space do you need for meat birds?

Just in case I could actually learn to cull a chicken........I mean get the nerve to, how much space does one need for a meat bird? I would think not as much as a laying hen but I actually don't know.

I had some chicken from the store the other night and it was so cruppy........raising meat birds crossed my mind.

From my experience with meat birds, they don't need room to play. All they do is lay there with their heads over in the feeder.

I have a section of the run I was using for my babies who are getting big enough to intergrate soon. This section is about 6x18. How many meat birds could I put in there?
