how much should I ask if selling?

Hello all. It's been a really long while since I've posted anything. Things have been going smoothly for my hens. I have 8, and they are all about 15 weeks and very healthy. Unfortunately, I am anticipating a move to Texas and cannot take my girls with me. How much do you think I would be able to get for them if I sold them? I have 5 RIR's, 1 barred rock, and 2 black sexlinks. I also have a nice home-made nesting box which has six cubbies (way more than I need for 8 hens...). Anyone have any suggestions?

In my area you could probably get $15 a piece for them. Have you looked at craigslist to see if you can find any other similar listings?

This is a local issue.

I'll sell some young hens on Craigs and the phone has rung off the hook. $12-$15 will move them out quick.

I was on Craig's list and they seem to be going for about $10.00 a piece. All I know is that I've put some money into these girls with the feed that I have been giving them, plus the alterations I made to our shack to convert it into a coop. I think that I'd be happy with 10 per hen.
