I live in Orange County California. My girls have just started laying (Aug. 11,2016). I gave a few eggs to friend to try and she loved them. Now she wants fresh eggs every week and wants to know how much they would cost. I have never had chickens or fresh eggs before, so i have no idea what to charge. Any ideas???

I'm north of you, up in El Dorado county. Around here the average is $3-$5 a dozen for backyard eggs. Personally I do $5 a dozen or $4 a dozen if they trade in the egg cartons each time.
