I have a Blue Slate Tom more than 20 lbs, probably closer to 30. Assuming I can catch him and hold him down, what kind of scale could I use to weight him accurately? (I can barely hold his wings closed, my dad will probably have to help)
And I honestly cannot afford to feed him anymore. He is too big and eats a lot.
What kind of price range can I get for him? (I know it depends on the market, I live in East Texas, if that matters).
He is mature and docile, so I hate to see him go. But he must. And probably the geese too. (Trio of Brown Chinese, any price on those fellas?)
So yeah. I have no idea what these guys sell for, but I don't want to be ripped off or rip people off. They are good looking, healthy, meaty birds. They free range in the yard and woods. I supplement with feed and calcium and such.
