Are you going to sell them in Ohio or are you going to ship them? It makes a difference. Personally, we will not sell eggs and shipping will ruin the majority of them.

Agreed, shipped eggs have a hatch rate of 15% at best typically. I never encourage going that route. If you're breeder it can ruin your reputation and if you're a buyer it can get discouraging and expensive.

If you're selling locally it depends on the color and pattern. I sell my eggs locally at $10 per, after I'm done setting what I want to set. That's probably too cheap, considering they're not blues, but it's better than eating them for breakfast, y'know?
