Hi there! We have a 4 year old, ND that we got a couple of weeks ago and I was wondering what amount of milk I should expect her to give each day. So far she's been giving an average of slightly less than a quart each day. We feed her as much as she will eat and we also feed her grains. Is this how much she should be giving? Is there something I can do to make her give more??? Thank you!

Nothing to be worried about! That's a perfectly normal amount for Nigerians to be producing. Is it her first time lactating? Sometimes the first timers just don't produce as much. And just watch out for how much food, especially grain, you are feeding her, you don't want her to over-eat and die.

Well, she definitely doesn't over eat, and this isn't her first time lactating. She's been bred before.

Okay, I just wanted to check.
