how much space do i need

I've never heard of grimaud hybrid Pekin ducks before but sounds like they might be on the large side. Are you wanting space for inside a duck house? In storeys book to raising ducks it says. 2-6sq' per duck depending on size. and temperament and outside run 2-10' again depending on size and temperament.

Best rule of thumb is go as large as you possibly can from the start.

it says they have a laid back temperament and they get to be 10 lbs.

Well like HDF says go as large as you can , especially if they can't free range because they can make a muddy mess out of an enclosure in a very short time.
The book gives great guide lines.
