how much space do poults need?

We bought our turkeys so that we could home hatch and raise poults.

We are going to build them a separate house so they stay off the ground until they are 2 months old. We have chickens and I dont want to risk blackhead with poults and let them suffer and die.

How much space will we need to provide the mom and say 10 babies. They are all small and cute when they are "Small" but by 2 months old they will be big.

Hey, Sumi that's a super article. Thank you so much, it's exactly what I was looking for. Now we can build. I will most likely only let her sit on 8-10 even that is a huge amount of space compared to what the 3 turkeys have now. But if these turkey babies are as roudy as our chicks then I am sure they will need it.
