How much space for Rangers?

If I get Rangers and I'm not able to range them, how much space would they need inside?

If you don't have space - please don't raise birds.

I grow out the "Freedom Rangers"/Label rouge birds on pasture. They are highly active birds, and roost, scratch, run around and jump after grasshoppers, etc.

It would be really, really cruel to raise them any other way than Free Range - that is what they've been bred for.

If your going to raise them inside treat them like any other layer breed. They need some extra space but the don't need 100 acres of pasture to keep them happy. As long as they have deep liter and plenty of room they will be fine. Good luck.

The parents of these birds are raised in confinement so it's kind of contradictive to say the offspring need pasture to thrive.

I had talked to Joel from JM Hatchery and asked him if I could keep them inside and he told me they do well inside or out. I just forgot to ask him about the space they should have. Thanks for the replies.
