How much space is needed to keep more than one roo?

I am still trying to figure out how many roos and hens I have, but if I do have roos, how many can stay together? They do not fight?

Last year I had 9 roos, no pullets...not on purpose mind you....they are now all gone. (they did not fight...just play fought, but no girls to fight over!)

This year I have 16 pullets and 3 roos, 1 roo is going bye-bye...the other two are doing fine, one is the boss, the other is finally crowing again, he had stopped
for a while, but now is "allowed to do so again".

Usually from what I have read here, 1 roo per 10 girls, or there about, depending on the roos temperament.

I took my roos and anything else I may want to get rid of to our local sale barn...they usually deal with larger animals, cows, horses, goats, sheep etc...my hubby works there...so it works well for us
