How much SQ. for each bird in the run with them free rangeing every other day?

I'm doing the same thing, free ranging about every other day. I'm building my run right now. It's about 200SF for 25 birds. I think it will do. I've heard anywhere from 4-10 SF/bird but I think free ranging them often will reduce the run size requirement.

that sounds good that comes out to 8 SqF per bird I think I will do that thanks

I would recommend at least 4+ sq of inside space. Also if your area has a large amount of snow in the winter I would make the inside space larger. My 35 chickens have a 20x30 coop with 2 additional rooms for separation for breeding. I have a run that is 20x30 next to the 20x30 coop.
