How much sun?

My coop will be behind my house, and the Sun sets in front. The birds will have sun into the afternoon, but none in the evening... Is this ok?

I'd think it would be just perfect. Providing shade...where I am where it is a warmer climate...is important to mine.

I would just make sure my coop has plenty of ventilation, I built mine under a large shade tree, they will get about 3 hours of morning sun and will be in the shade from about 11 am till dark.
