I just hatched out 3 baby buttons from 6 eggs last week. So besides those I don't have any replacements for my grown pair. I am waiting for them to grown up, and in the mean time I am waiting for my hen to start laying so I can incubate more eggs.

Buttons around heree go for $4 bucks a piece at swaps and at auctions. I cant see a pet store paying over $10 a pair, they wouldnt make much profit otherwise. Chicks are fragile, and would need to be probably fully feathered before id let them go.

I agree. Breeders and auctions probably sell for less, but pet stores will sell for a little more. We got started on button quails a few years ago after seeing them at a pet store and thinking they were adorable! The store sold the pair for $30. Good luck!
