Looks like my eggs may end up med., maybe med./large. I was thinking $3/dozen. What do you guys charge and does it matter if they end up medium? Thanks.

$3 per dozen. Some eggs are small some are huge. It all evens out. I think the real thing people like is that they're fresh, taste great and know what they eat and how they live.

Me, too, $3.doz. The customers, who are really disappointed the egg factory is shut down for annual molt, are satisfied with an assortment of large, medium and small eggs, with an occasional jumbo, in all colors from blue to tan to brick red.

I also sell mine for $3/dozen.
400

I sell for $3.50 for a 26-27oz dozen......a 27oz dz is USDA XLarge.
Depends on your area and your customers desires.
Cage free eggs at the grocery here are $4......'regular' eggs are more like $2 - $2.50

Yes, I weigh them, due to a plethora of pullet eggs the past few months, easier to account my costs that way.
Been weighing all my 6 pullets eggs singly for each bird, luckily they each lay a uniquely colored egg so I can tell whose is who's, to track size with age.

I sell for $3 a dozen but one of my customers gives me $ 3.50 a dozen because she is delighted to have farm fresh eggs.

I sell mine for $2 dozen small/med & $3 doz for large/xl.
I could probably charge $1 per dozen more but then I'd have to hunt for the higher paying customers instead of having loyal customers waiting in line to do biz with me.
