Wondering what would be a fair price for a dozen chicken eggs. They are your normal city chickens.

$3 is the going rate here. But I just saw someone's new sign for $2, half a mile from the $3 place.

I plan to sell mine for $3 to my neighbors who have expressed interest. Covering the cost of feed would be enough for me. A little extra would be wonderful....

They're going for $5/dozen in my area. More if laid by 'organically' raised chickens.

I switched my chickens to organ feed a bag-and-a-half ago. I'm still going to charge $3.

Now, if my neighbors demand to pay me $5, I won't complain.

I sell them for $4, $9 for duck eggs. Prescott has a lot of summer tourists and they are more at the Farmer's Market. Duck eggs in the photo.

I give eggs to some neighbors. When I have extras. I pickle them first! I put them in our Air BnB as an extra perk. Here is our place.
