I have had my girls for less than a year, I know one day I will have to deworm, but I would rather avoid this and just keep a regimen that keeps them away.

I have read MANY times about Vinegar...how much per gallon of water should I mix?

If I leave this out year round, it should help prevent worms from ever starting correct?

and then WHAT is it good for if not for worms?

we use 1 tablespoon per gallon of apple cider vinegar in each gallon. It helps with digestion. You might try asking this question over on the OT (old timers) thread. they are more friendly towards people trying natural deworming methods.
I use as a worm preventive; garlic, onions and super hot cayenne red pepper. I'm not saying it keeps worms away but it definitely boosts their immune. I like useing as many natural methods as possible.

thank you...I appreciate it...I want to keep as many meds out of the chickens as possible, we do the same with our cattle...med free.
