I like to hear roosters crow a few times a day but too much is too much. My grandma doesn't like to hear roosters crow
I'm sorry, he has always been a crower

That's how I got my first cockbird, only wanted a half dozen laying hens, but got 4 pullets(one was male) if I took the cock too for $20. He was a very cool bird and taught me a lot. Gave him back to her for a friend who needed one...and his son(not a cool bird) taught me how to slaughter.I do find if I put a few girls (pullets and/or old worn out girls(and tell the truth)) with them a new chicken owner will take the group.
I love chicken that crow. My flock recently got wiped out by a rescue dog. I do have a new batch of chicks but they are only 4-5 weeks old and not nearly vocal enough. I miss those sassy egg laying hen noises, egg songs and the roos. The property seems sterile without them.
He is gorgeous, good luck I cant even give them away. I do find if I put a few girls (pullets and/or old worn out girls(and tell the truth)) with them a new chicken owner will take the group.

Sorry for the thread diversion @RodNTN
He is gorgeous and highly unique, so you might get $100...or $10.
Best of Luck!
