It would depend on the age and condition? Guaranteed to heat? I have bought 2 used...must say the 1 I bought new and the hatcher was bought new, were well worth it.
The first one I bought used $200 and $100 shipping...only had 2 turning trays (ostrich type) had to buy the hardware to add the 3rd turning shelve.
The 2nd used one we bought, $250...got it home and it ran but did not heat, had to buy a new electronic thermostat.

New has less problems!

I got 2 1266's and 2 1250 hatchers last month for 400 , ok , it was set up for ostrich but the change over was super easy . and for 100 each piece I'll chance it every time .
O yeah the worth ,,, I would have given 250 /275
