I dont think there is really a specific answer for any breed of chicken-mine are fed at all times-free-ranging during day so its alot cheaper in soring summer fall-winter I go throught alot-I fill their feeders at night so when they get up in am they are out-just leave it out for them and after a month or so youll get a feel for what they fo through.
