I need to move 3 geese and a nest from one safe fenced area to another. My son had the brilliant idea to pick up the nest and the geese would follow the nest.
I laughed so hard that tears ran from my eyes, picturing him carrying a nest of goose eggs, trying not to jostle them, with 3 furious over-protective geese after him.
I nixed that idea. We will catch the geese and carry them. The nest is inside a dog crate, so once the geese are captured, we will very carefully carry the nest and hope the goose goes back to it.
My 2 rather polite ganders are ready to go to war with anyone who gets close to that nest. I can only imagine what they would do if anyone actually picked that nest up.
