Geese laying eggs in each others nests

The two nests involved are about 30 feet apart, and one is only accessible via a ramp. I am going to have to keep a better eye on them. I had no idea.

The first time I caught a chicken with eggs under her wings I laughed like crazy, I thought it was not true!

All those crazy mothering hormones at work. My geese are starting to ramp up breeding behaviors here, so I'll no doubt be in the same boat you're in soon.

I wondered about that. The oldest goose has always had eggs break. I thouht it might be the magpies or a small hawk. But I did consider the goose, but could not really confirm.
