Geese laying dates

I want to know if anyone has ever heard of geese laying in late May? Ours lay during the usual winter times for geese. At least any geese that I am aware of. But here it is Friday of Memorial Day weekend and I just found one of our geese sitting on an egg. We have Toulouse geese. 2 years old. Both are female. They have had two laying seasons up until now. Their second season, this past one, was maybe 6 weeks earlier than their first one. They finished laying mid February this past time. Their first time they finished up in April. Their first laying season lasted almost 3 months and we probably got 40-50 eggs from each.

I would assume it depends where you live. Here in Wisconsin mine will lay until the end of June most years. They started in March.
