How not to run water

It was a temp line,just never got around to taking it out,pipe is 30' long was wraped and taped,been real cold and just blew up about 4-6 pieces,ducks went crazy with the wrap after it happend.

You can get away with a line like that--just put a T at the lowest point, and a valve to drain it with when it freezes. I'm sure you've figured something like that now. At least it was not inside!
