How often do ducks lay eggs?

I am new to the duck world. We rescued a pet duck about 6 months ago. When we got her she layed an egg a day for about a week or so. Then stopped. And now she will lay for a few days, stop, then just once in a blue moon. She is housed in with 2 chooks, and 3 turkeys (1 male, 2 female) in an area about 15m x 35m, occasionally let out to fully free range. The male turkey has always been there but the 2 females are only recent. We feed her a pellet made for ducks, turkey and chooks. Is her egg laying habits normal? Do they lay eggs seasonally or can feed make a difference? It is not a big issue not having the eggs, just want to know if she is ok with what we do for her or we are missing something.

What breed of duck is it? Is she molting? Some breeds lay more prolifically than others and some stop laying all together when they are in their annual molt. Though with other birds, she may be lonely without another duck. Is she eating and pooping okay?

I am not sure what breed she is. I really do know nothing about ducks. I don't think she is molting, I have not noticed any feathers. She seems happy enough with the other birds, do they prefer to be in pairs? She has a splash and clean in her little pond we put in there. Eats and poops well!

She looks like a Muscovy duck. I think they're a little more seasonal with their egg laying but I've never had one so I'm not positive.

She does look like a Muscovy. I am also not familiar with their egg laying routine. I believe there is a Muscovy duck thread on this forum you could search for. Also see if you can make contact with Miss Lydia - she has Muscovies and a lot of knowledge about them.

Beautiful Muscovy, she looks young. They are seasonal layers but are good layers when they lay if you can keep them from going broody. She would probably like a companion of her breed though. Ducks just like to hang out with other ducks.
