My rooster has obviously hit puberty because he keeps getting on the hens. He does this all throughout the day. Do I just ignore it or should I try to stop him? I don't know if he's accomplishing anything because he's only on them for several seconds. Maybe that's all it takes? Heck, I don't know!
The hens don't have any bare marks and don't appear to be getting hurt ( I keep all our chickens nails trimmed real well), but if they're anything like me, they need a break!
