How often do u change water dishes

I have several 5 quart open water dishes in the big chicken run. I dump the dirty water in my veggie garden every morning and pressure spray them out before refilling. I soap and water (with a sponge) to remove any crud that stuck as needed. That is daily for the ducks and weekly for the chickens.

In winter I have to break ice or dump ice a few times a day. In winter they get the once a week scrub out, the daily spray out won't happen with a frozen hose.

Every 2 or 3 days with a 2 gallon waterer unless it gets too dirty or evaporates too quick. The chickens also have access to a spring that always has fresh water, and I currently have a kiddie pool set up that they like to drink from that I clean once a week.

My waterer in their coop I scrub out and refill every three days, and the somewhat random buckets in the yard I top off regularly, and then dump out, scrub, and refill whenever they start looking like they're growing too much algae. (The duck water I change out daily.). The chickens seem to prefer the buckets to the galvanized waterer.

Daily. Very occasionally if we go away for the weekend and it's not super hot (if so we get a neighbour in) we will leave it two days.
