It seems like I have to cute my lil call ducks nails about every other week b/c they grow like crazy. Especially my white duck Angels nails they grow a lot. Does anyone else have to cute their ducks nails often?

I've never cut my duck's nails. I wonder what is considered too long?

I don't cut my runners' nails. The only time I considered it was when they were adolescents, and climbing all over me when I cleaned the brooder in my pedal pushers.

I guess they're called capri pants now.

well I remember back in the olden days we use to call the pedal pushers too.

I trimmed one of my runners nails once. He was limping and after catching and confining him, it looked like his nails were very long. My DH, unwillingly, clipped the nails while I held him. I did give him the choice though.

I cut mine before every show and in between if they need it...I consider the nails to be too long if they are becoming crooked or interfering with walking in any way, or setting the duck back onto its heels and making it walk not quite right. I cut them as short as the quicks will allow for.
