How often do you feed fermented feed?

Ok i have decided to give fermenting feed a try, and I found a couple good articles on how to make it. My question is the transition from access to layer pellets 24/7 to fermented feed. My understanding is that you don't leave the fermented feed out, so is it like feeding my dogs once at morning and once at night? They get scratch feed thrown out during the day, along with treats and fruits and veggies throughout the day. I just don't want to starve the! I have 15 (4-6 months old) chickens so how much should I give in a feeding?

If it makes a difference I have a mixed flock of frizzles, RIR, Dixie rainbow, tetra tint, red sex link, easter eggers and a turken/silkie

No need to do a night thing.The way we do it is they get it in the morning or if we need to put them up we use that or any food that they can eat in the house.

Is it a trial and error to see how much they eat. I have 15 chickens and don't want to under feed them. They get scratch and other treats/scraps we have that day.

Under feed/Is very rare to UNDER feed them.Its hard.chickens eat ALOT!Mines free range so you know they get ALOT of things.In fact its rare for people to under feed.
