I have a betta in a small tank with two cory cats (the corys refuse to die

).

I feed them every other day, a pinch of tropical flakes and maybe 6-8 betta food pellets.

If the betta had his way I'd feed him every time I passed the tank, which is often. He also likes to fight with the red betta on the front of the food container.

A few beta pellets once or twice a day. But he usually just lets them sink to the bottom so I'm sure we could cut back!

We feed them every day/ other day. The kids sometimes forget a day. I just look to see if there are any pellets on the floor. He doesn't like flakes.

I had mine on my desk at work - fed him every morning - he liked the flakes - and would jump out of the water to get a blood worm - LOVED those treats!

I only feed three little pellet balls every day or every other day. I almost never have to clean the tank because I feed him so little and he eats it all right away. If he starts to look bloated, I cut back and feed him less often. Usually when I'm at school, I'll feed him every day except on weekends. So far he's been alive about three years!

I like to feed twice a day, 1-2 pellets per meal. That's with Hikari pellets. I don't know how the size is with other pellets.

When younger mine are more active and eat more. A five year old is usually less active and eats less. If they attack their food, they get a second pellet. If they eat more casually, they get one. I also go by how their body weight looks, looking from above. Underweight fish get more food, chunky fish get less.
