How often do you feed your betta?

breeding fish or babies got fed live and good pellets 2-3 times a day. pets got 1 or 2 high quality pellets once a day.

Every day, just a flake or three or four. We had 8 at one time, (vases all over the house, and NO plant on top, that is cruel to oxygen breathers like they are) and one would come up to the top and let us rub his back. They are almost tragic fish I think. All that beauty, and too mean to be with their own kind. A male will kill a female if they are not mature enough to breed, and while some books say its really easy, I don't think its THAT easy. I love them. Would have a dozen if I could. Did you know if one jumps out of his tank, and he isn't dried up like a potato chip, there is a chance he will revive if put back in water? One tough fish. We just have one, and he is so happy to be out of that little tub and into a gallon tank.
