That does bring up another point. Having a parasite load on a chicken (or other animal) is not necessarily a bad thing. It's when the animals can't handle the load, you have issues. You should always be monitoring for signs of anemia, in which case get a fecal float to determine what the likely culprit is.
I would not use Valbazen on poultry unless your vet specifically told you to do so.
Also, some dewormers are ineffective against certain parasites (some dewormers don't touch flukes for example). You run the risk of choosing a dewormer which doesn't even work on what is making your animal sick.
