How often should chicken wings be clipped?

I’ve just clipped my chicken’s wings for the first time. About how often does this need to be done?

Depends on age- adults we’ve only had to do again after a moult. Pullets/cockerels we’ve had to do multiple times recently- about once a month maybe. Just whenever you see the flight feathers have grown back in.

After every molt.
Be very careful clipping wings on younger than ~6mo birds, new feathers have blood in them.
