How Often to Feed Adults ??

I have been feeding my birds the pellets in the evening along with letting them free range for a few hours in the evenings. During the day they might get kitchen scraps if available.

How often do most of you feed your birds ?

Layers pellets and water in coop 27/7. Scratch grains twice a day scattered on ground, what they can consume in 10-15 minutes each time. They also have water in the 500 square foot pen and under the raised coop. GC

Hi! Yep, mine have layer pellets available all the time and then scratch or table scraps in the morning or evening. If the feed is left out, they will learn to self-regulate and only eat what they need.
