how often to feed veggies/fruit

is little bits of fruit/veggies each day too much to feed chickens.
also i found a post on here about feeding
parsley,rosemary, basil, and oregano i havnt fed herbs before has anyone else? i thought maybe i could grow some in boxes in their run dont know if they can eat to much though

I toss mine whatever peeling I have from dinner the night before. Sometimes every day, sometimes every few days (if I get a chance to eat out, lol) What they don't eat I just leave there for the flies. I'll go in in a few days and rake up everything and they find good ol' bugs to dine on too

thanks for the reply, i feed layers pellets,grains and grass but i usually only put greens in once a week.
before finding this site i didnt know how much was too much sounds like it dousnt matter if they have veggies everyday.
they do like to be spoiled dont they.
