Another Polish question!
Do they always have vaulted skulls? If so, can they take a peck to the head? I don’t see how that can be entirely avoided…

Do they always have vaulted skulls? If so, can they take a peck to the head? I don’t see how that can be entirely avoided…

In my experience most do not have a vaulted skull. My experiences with a silkie with a vaulted skull wasn't good. She did get pecked and it caused brain damage. I'd advise keeping polish with other polish, and not other vigorous breeds, especially if they are kept confined or in a smaller set up. My polish do well in a mixed flock, but they do have a lot of room.

Thank you for your reply! I hope they have regular skulls, because I have a smaller setup and mixed flock. I was planning on being extra careful when introducing them to the flock anyway though.
