She may not lay again this fall, may molt instead.

Yes, same bird. I seem to have a lot of questions on this one.
I realize it is hard to answer them but I love to speculate my others are young and I have raised them so this is my first with a questionable past.
She is beautiful and will be allowed to retire and live out her days whether she lays again or not.
I greatly appreciate everyone's input. This is the best way to learn.

She is a pretty girl and very sweet. My 11 year old carried her in her arms at the chicken swap after we bought her, then held her all the way home. She was so calm and sweet. My girls named her Pumpkin Spice Latte.

That's a perfect name for her.
