how old are ducks before they go broody?

my ducks are 7months old when will they go broody?

That will depend on the seasons there. My runners did not go broody until they were about six months old, but they hit that age in the middle of summer. And only three of my eleven got broody at all. Fünf is the only serious broody I have.

What breed are they? Certain birds never actually end up going broody.
