I have 2 pullets of each breed:
How old are they? What kind? What color eggs should I expect?

Do you know how prolifically they lay?You have two Rhode Island Reds (The brown ones) and two black sex links (The dark ones)
Expect brown eggs that are either going to be medium brown or a little darker.
I would guess them to be around 4 weeks old.
Those breeds are bred for egg production. If my memory serves me correctly, they lay about 5-6 eggs a week.Do you know how prolifically they lay?

Well it looks like I lucked out then...even if they were all wrong about what they sold me! Thanks! Those breeds are bred for egg production. If my memory serves me correctly, they lay about 5-6 eggs a week.
are black star the same as BSL?My BSL gave me eggs 28/30 days in the summer. I miss having a sex link already. After this flock I'll never not have at least 1 black or red star.
And they never go broody!!
