The3 larger Pearl Grays may be between one and two weeks old at the most.I just bought these keets yesterday. From what I read the little ones are probably 3-4 days old. They are just starting to get their wing feathers. What about the bigger ones?? Anyone hazard a guess of the age?
Thanks! Was trying to figure out how best to take care of everyone's heat needs. Really appreciate it.The3 larger Pearl Grays may be between one and two weeks old at the most.
Provide the proper heat and nutrition for the youngest keets. Make sure that there is a cool area that any or all can retreat to when they so desire. Place the feed and water in the cooler area. Thanks! Was trying to figure out how best to take care of everyone's heat needs. Really appreciate it.
There is an old thread in this forum which explains why guineas do not do well in tractors. While they are still small it may be acceptable but I would not expect adult guineas to do well in a tractor. One more thing. I'm planning on putting them in my chicken coop/tractor outside with their heating pad like I did the chickens. I've just been adding wood shavings to the floor for quite a while. I'm is there any reason that would be a problem or should I clean it out and start with fresh shavings for them?
I used guinea tractor and search this forum only.I'll look for that. Thanks. Will clean it outDo remember anything key to the discussion? I've searched with just "keet" and "tractor" but not sure i've found what you're talking about yet.
