This may seem like a stupid question to some but I, for the life of me, can't figure out how old my chicks are, really. They were born on March 28th and March 30th. They are Buff Orpingtons and an Australorp.
Are they 5 weeks old or 6 weeks old this week? Do you count from March 28th to April 4th as the first week and then count from there? OR do you start with March 28th and look at it as "going into the first weeks of life". I'm probably looking to closely at this but we're anxious to get them out of the garage and I want to make sure they are big enough.
